Dexter - Finding Freebo

Dexter has so many facets to his character. The producers of this great show spend alot of time developing how we as the audience see Dexter. How many actual serial killers do you hope will get away with their crimes? Every sunday night for near three years now I find myself feeling a confusing sense of guilt for sincerely wishing Dexter keeps murdering and not getting caught. Does this make me a horribly nasty evil person? I don’t know, but I do know this is good evidence the writers and producers of Dexter are doing their job and they’re doing their job well.

This weeks episode is titled “Finding Freebo” because last week Dexter went to kill Freebo and wound up killing the brother of a district deputy attorney, letting Freebo slip right through his fingers. Oops! Dexter’s always making some kind of error in judgment. This is his second obvious error this season. His first was getting his girlfriend Rita pregnant. Actually Dexter’s third possibly detrimental foul up occurred last night. Immediately upon completing his mission of killing Freebo the deputy district attorney showed up, catching Dexter with fresh blood on his hands. Dexter quickly blankets the district deputy attorney with a covering of lies. These lies mean nothing to the district attorney, who is over-joyed Dexter has just rid the earth of Freebo. He then offers to help Dexter clean up the mess and get rid of all the evidence. Dexter says “I’ll take care of it, you should go, plausible deniability”. All in all it was a fine intimate moment shared between Dexter, the D.A., and the audience.

Freebo’s now dead and it looks like Dexter will be paling around with the D.A. for awhile, who appears to be enamored with Dexter for his kind act of revenge. I love how Dexter gets giddy just before, during, and after a kill. Everything associated with killing truly is a fix for him. I really miss his narcotics anonymous sponsor Lila. She was slightly more nuts than Dexter however they still could have found room to bring her along with the rest of the cast into this season.

There’s one other killer on tv who I’m beginning to fall in love with. The irresistibly sexy Summer Glau. She plays John Connor’s terminatrix protector or protectress on “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. She sometimes exhibits strange flaws in her thinking and behavior. For instance last week she kept looking up a chimney listening to birds chirp. She then tried unsuccessfully a few times to get permission from Sarah Connor to kill the birds. She couldn’t rid her mind of killing these birds. She’s going through some kind of identity crisis right now. She’s actually learning who she is just like any other sentient being. Her psyche is different from yet right on par with Dexters.

I know I got a little off topic but I hope this will tide you over until next weeks episode and my review of it. FanPop.com is a good place to find just about anything from articles to news to videos on Dexter or Michael C. Hall. I hope everyone has a great week. See you all back here next week.

Heroes - I Am Become Death

This weeks episode titled “I Am Become Death” is set 4 years into the future. First, Matt Parkman is induced by a substance to see the future, so we end up in the future via Matt Parkman. Then, picking up from last weeks ending, future Peter Petrelli arrives in the future with Peter Petrelli from the present. We end up in the future through multiple angles and I’ll definitely have to watch this again to get a better grasp on this.

Upon arriving in the future Peter Petrelli from this future is shot down and killed by Claire Bennet leaving Peter Petrelli from our time to fend for himself. He escapes Claires wrath and then seeks out our mysterious genetics professor Mohinder Suresh, where he promptly pulls information out of Mohinders mind leading him next to Sylar. Sylar, a once ordinary timepiece restorer dreaming of a chance to become special, explains to Peter that he’s his brother. Peter doesn’t seem very shocked by this. Sylar now has a young child he’s raising named Noah of all names. Peter tells Sylar he’s here to take Sylars powers upon himself in order to save the world. Sylar winds up teaching Peter how to use his power. Claire and her band of evil cohorts show up to kill Peter and instead only succeed in killing Sylars son. I mean Gabriels son, as he is no longer Sylar. In an eerily similar manner to the first season finale Sylar then loses control of his nuclear power and blows up the entire city of Costa Verde.

Our Peter escapes this destruction and can be found in the morgue staring at his future dead self. Claire begins to torture him when Nathan arrives and takes things into his hands. Nathan decides to let Peter go, but this isn’t enough for Peter. He now has Sylars insatiable hunger for more powers and to understand how everything works. Peter proceeds to cut off his brother Nathans head and take his power. He then teleports himself back to our present, confronting the present version of Sylar with the fact that future Sylar gave him his powers, and then we’re left hanging until next weeks episode.

Hiro and Ando are being held by the Company the entire episode. All we hear is the same back and forth bickering between them in regards to Hiro no longer trusting Ando because Ando kills him in the future. Angela Petrelli takes them from their cell and has a talk with them. She tells Hiro he’s the only with enough information to do anything about our impending calamitous future. We then find Hiro and Ando digging up Adam Monroe from the grave Hiro put him in at the end of last season.

Matts future includes his new wife Daphne Millbrook, our lady of the blessed acceleration, and their adopted daughter Molly Walker. Daphne shows up at the front door after escaping Sylars nuclear explosion, then drops dead in front of Parkmans eyes. Parkman then comes to and he’s still in Africa. It was all just a vision of the future and now they must change it. We then see Matt following a turtle around the African desert in search of his animal totem.

Tracy Strauss tries to kill herself by jumping off a bridge. Nathan flies in and makes a quick rescue and flies her back to his room where they begin to share intimacies. We expected this because in the future Nathan is once again the President and Tracy is his First Lady.

Rest easy until next week when I’ll see you all back here for the next weekly recap installment. Have a great week and don’t forget to check out FanPop.com where you can find Heroes videos, images, links, articles, news, forums, and quizes. This is an amazing fansite to visit. I’ve also been writing miscellaneous articles for CreditCardsOnlineApps.com.

‘One Of Us, One Of Them’ - Heroes

If you missed the latest episode of ‘Heroes’, ‘One Of Us, One Of Them’, don’t worry, I’m sure you can find links to videos of all episodes on fanpop.com. ‘Heroes’ may currently be the best show going other than Showtimes ‘Dexter’, which recently aired episode 1 of season 3. I’m here to give you a few details about the last episode of ‘Heroes’.

Matt Parkman, played by Greg Grunberg, is stuck in Africa on a spirit walk after being teleported there by future Peter Petrelli in the first episode. Parkman became aware that future Peter shot his brother Nathan. Parkman is being guided by an African who paints the future only this man doesn’t need any heroin to do it.

Both Peter Petrellis are played by Milo Ventimiglia. The Peter Petrelli of the present is in the process of robbing a bank with a bunch of criminals with powers. Peters goal is to keep them from harming anyone. Future Peter stuck present Peter in the body of a criminal locked up in Level 5, a prison facility maintained by the Company located inside Primatech Research designed and built to contain dangerous evolved humans. They all escaped after Sylar showed up to steal and absorb all their powers. Sylar failed and wound up locked up in Level 5 himself.

Peter and Nathan Petrellis mother shows up at Level 5 to pay Sylar a visit and reveals she’s his mother also. After this shocking revelation she unstraps him and sets him loose to feed upon another evolved human. Sylar is played by the all versatile actor Zachary Quinto. Angela Petrelli then partners Sylar with Noah Bennet, the man with the horned rim glasses, so that they can put a stop to the escapees from Level 5. Noah and Sylar show up at the bank and recapture the criminals at which point present Peter is taken back out of the body he’s been stashed in by future Peter. Future Peter, having screwed up the future, whisks present Peter away on a mission to restore it back to the way it’s supposed to be.

Claire is pissed off after having the top of her head peeled off and her brain handled and played with by Sylar. Sylar now has Claires power and apparently neither of them can die. Claires real mother is living with them in order to help protect them while her father is gone. Her mother is nothing but trouble in the making. Claire seems to be on her own mission to get even with Sylar.

Hiro and Ando are on a mission to retrieve the first half of a formula designed to give anyone powers. The formula was stolen from them by Daphne Millbrook, our lady of the blessed acceleration. Daphne uses her ability to run really, really fast to shoplift and steal things. Hiro, Ando, and Daphne all show up at a movie theatre to steal the second half of the formula from the Haitian, whose presence has supressed all of their powers. Ando knocks out the Haitian freeing their powers. Hiro takes possession of the second half of the formula which is then swiped from him by the accellerating Daphne.

Tracy Strauss, who we believed to be another personality of Niki Sanders, ventures out to learn about Niki. Tracy has been confronted with a video tape of a woman who looks exactly like her having sex with Nathan Petrelli. She accidentally froze and shattered a newspaper reporter for accusing her of being a prostitute. We realize Niki and Tracy are two entirely different people when we see them in the same room together, Tracy looking at Nikis corpse in her coffin. Nikis son Mika then taps into the internet and comes up with the name Dr. Zimmerman. It seems Dr. Zimmerman was present when both Niki and Tracy were born. Tracy pays him a visit where Zimmerman reveals to her he created the two of them.

With the revelation of Niki and Tracys creation we are left in the dark until next week. I have to give them credit for being able to keep me in suspense every week.

Starry Nebula

Summer Glau is the hottest psychopathic killer robot from the future

Summer Glau is the hottest psychopathic killer robot from the future I’ve ever seen. Her cold persona and lack of emotions when she’s killing or thinking about killing people is somehow completely lovable. The producers of ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ have achieved something great in Cameron, John Connors terminatrix protector and companion and part time malfunctioning assassin, played by the irresistable Summer Glau.

Summers ability to play the part of a confused killer terminatrix is unrivalled. In this weeks episode Glau pays a visit to a social worker in a halfway house and convinces her she’s a runaway and a victim. This is where we discover Cameron is modelled after a real girl from Palmdale named Allison, hence the title of the episode ‘Allison From Palmdale’. During Summer Glaus second visit to the social worker she tells the truth, and the truth is she’s a robot from the future with the objective of killing John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance and saviour of mankind. The social worker gets freaked out and calls the cops on her but by the time they arrive she’s already gone.

John Connor spends the entire episode trying to track down Cameron. When he eventually locates her at the homeless shelter her malfunctioning chip keeps her from recognizing Connor and they throw him out believing he’s only a stalker. I bet in real life Summer Glau has been stalked by many a man at many a time. In the end Cameron recovers her true memories and returns back home with Connor. Prior to this Summer is on the verge of killing a new found girlfriend because she turns out to be a pathological liar and a thief and Glau is not very happy with this. Glau does not kill her but leaves the audience wishing she had. The new girlfriend is definitely scandless.

Rumors are beginning to abound that fox may decide to cancel the show due to very poor ratings and they believe the show is also interfering with their show ‘Prison Break’ which airs directly after ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’. Let’s all pray they don’t cancel our show. My opinion is that this is currently one of the three best shows airing right now. The other two are ‘Heroes’ season 3 and ‘Dexter’ season 3. If you have yet to see either of these two programs you’re missing out, don’t let them slip by you. ‘Fringe’ seems to be pretty good but it’s not in the same class.

Be sure not to miss future episodes of ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ if for no other reason than to see the irresistably desirable Summer Glau in her best role yet. Summer Glau is money. She also appears and has credit in ‘The 4400′, ‘The Unit’, ‘The Initiation of Sarah’, ‘Mammoth’, ‘Serenity’, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, ‘Sleepover’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘Firefly’, and ‘Angel’.

Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles ‘Allison From Palmdale’

Season 2 of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles is turning out to be a great season. I’ve watched the first three episodes and I’m hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for episode 4. If you happened to miss episode three let me give you a quick recap.

In episode 3, Allison From Palmdale, Sarah Connor ends up taking her neighbor to the hospital because she’s pregnant and having spicy taco stomach pains only she hasn’t eaten any spicy tacos. Sarah spends the entire episode with her neighbor in the hospital. Pretty boring!

In the meantime John and Cameron go out shopping together. They split up. Cameron is sent to the grocery store to buy cheese puffs for John. In the grocery store she begins having flashbacks from the future. It appears her chip is malfunctioning again when she starts knocking items over in the grocery store. The cops show up and promptly put her in jail believing she’s probably on drugs. John shows up only to find out she’s in jail.

Cameron meets a new girlfriend in jail. They both get released from jail together. The new girlfriend spies the cops turn over a huge wad of cash over to Cameron so we know what Camerons new girlfriend is really after. The two of them wind up hanging out together throughout the whole show. Camerons new girlfriends boyfriend shows up, accuses her of being a thief, then proceeds to pop her in the mouth. Cameron acts frightened and gives him the wad of cash so he’ll go away. I bet she wished she had been carrying credit cards instead!

John Connor spends the whole episode searching for Cameron. There’s quite a bit of character development spent on Cameron in this episode. We get to know her a lot better from all her flashbacks spread throughout this episode. It turns out Cameron was modeled from a real girl named Allison who was a member of John Connors resistance fighters. She spends alot of time toying with the real Allison like she’s a mouse to find out what she’s all about and then infiltrate the resistance. Her flashbacks have her believing she is Allison. She calls Allisons mom on the phone in Palmdale and is told by Allisons mom ‘I have no daughter yet’. Cameron and her new girlfriend rob a house where Cameron catches on to the fact her new girlfriend isa pathological liar as well as a thief and then holds back from killing her. John comes in and she decides to return home with him as her memory has now come back to her.

Our FBI friend James has another meeting with our new terminatrix. She knows how to use her money to her best advantage. Our FBI friend takes the job she’s been tempting him with after he uses his FBI connections to have a background check done on her. When they air an episode to develop both their characters this will make a great episode.

Alexander Hamiltons Murder Plays Part in Chase Banks Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card

Chase Banks Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card is tied into the murder of Alexander Hamilton, among many other intriguing historical events in Americas history. Since Aaron Burr is the founder of the Manhattan Company which is part of the amalgam of Chase Bank and Burr murdered Hamilton in a gun fight the Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card is a part of our history.

If you have good credit or excellent credit you may be entitled to carry the Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card. A direct link to our unique American history could reside in your wallet. The Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card is an unsecured credit card for consumers and shoppers alike.

Alexander Hamilton was a brilliant American statesman and became the first United States secretary of the treasury. He took office in President George Washingtons first cabinet. Hamilton gave needed strength to the new government by firmly establishing the credit of our new nation.

Hamilton persuaded the Congress to pay at full face value all public debts incurred during the Revolutionary War, including those by Congress and by individual states. Taxes or duties on goods brought into the United States provided money to pay the debts and to run the government.

Hamiltons taxes also included a tax on whiskey made in the United States. Many farmers disliked the whiskey tax, and this led to the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794. Hamilton accompanied the federal troops which put down the rebellion.

Hamilton also proposed a mint and a bank supported by the government. He expected them to help the governments operations and American business. Thomas Jefferson, then secretary of state, believed the bank Hamilton proposed was unconstitutional. Jefferson pointed out that the United States Constitution did not give Congress the power to charter a bank. Hamilton defended the constitutionality of the bank by using the “doctrine of implied powers”. The Supreme Court of the United States adopted Hamiltons policy. The first two national political parties in the United States grew out of this dispute between Hamilton and Jefferson.

Hamilton was born on July 11, in Charlestown, on the island of Nevis in the British West Indies. In 1772, Hamilton came to the American mainland to finish his education. He studied in a grammar school in Elizabethtown, New Jersey, and then entered Kings College, in New York City.

Hamilton sympathized with the colonies in their struggle against England. Before the Revolutionary War began, he published anonymously two remarkable pamphlets supporting the revolutionary cause. After the war started, he joined the colonial forces and fought bravely in the Long Island and New Jersey campaigns of 1776 and 1777. In March, 1777, he was made secretary to General George Washington and was promoted to lieutenant colonel.

After the war, Hamilton was admitted to law practice after only three months of hard study. In 1782 and 1783, he represented New York in Congress. He knew well the weakness of the government under the Articles of Confederation. He was a delegate to the Annapolis Convention, which met in September, 1786, to discuss changes in the Articles of Confederation. Hamilton drew up a proposal in Annapolis calling for a convention of the states to increase the central governments powers. In the resulting Constitutional Convention of 1787, Hamilton became a vigorous spokesman for a strong national government. His papers supporting it, published in the Federalist, and his speeches in the New York convention, were strong influences in getting the Constitution adopted.

Hamilton served as secretary of the treasury from 1789 until January, 1795, but his influence in government continued after his retirement. He helped President Washington write his Farewell Address, and he headed a wing of the Federalist Party that opposed some of President John Adams policies.

In 1804, Hamilton became involved in a political dispute with Aaron Burr, then Vice President, an old rival in New York politics and in law practice. Burr challenged him to a duel. The two men fought on July 11, 1804. Hamilton was wounded, and died on the following day.

Hamilton was a controversial figure in his own time. But today he ranks high among American statesmen for his great contributions.

What Does Aaron Burr Have To Do With Chase Bank Flexible Rewards Platinum Visa?

How is Aaron Burr tied to Chase Bank Flexible Rewards Platinum Visa? Well Chase Bank is an ascendant of the Manhattan Company founded in 1798 by Aaron Burr and Chase Bank created this great card we know as Flexible Rewards Platinum Visa credit card. Flexible Rewards Platinum Visa from Chase Bank is an unsecured card designed for consumers with good credit to excellent credit.

So who is Aaron Burr? Aaron Burr was Vice President of the United States from 1801 to 1805, serving his term under Thomas Jefferson. His brilliant career and promising future ended disastrously when he killed Alexander Hamilton in a gun duel in 1804. Afterward, he became one of the most controversial figures in the history of the United States.

Aaron Burr was born in Newark, New Jersey, and he graduated from Princeton College in 1772. He fought with the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War from 1775 to 1779, starting as a private and rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel. In 1778, Burr distinguished himself at the Battle of Monmouth.

He became a lawyer in 1782 and practiced in Albany, New York, and New York City. He soon became one of the nations leading lawyers. He served New York as a state legislator and as attorney general in 1789. He was elected to a term in the United States Senate in 1791, defeating Alexander Hamiltons father in law, General Philip Schuyler.

Aaron Burr ran with Thomas Jefferson for the presidency of the United States both in 1976 and 1800. Everyone knew that Burr was really the Republican partys choice for Vice President, but the way the original constitution was worded, both men were technically running for the first office. Burr failed to gain either office in 1796, but in 1800 he tied with Jefferson. The U.S. House of Representatives had to take 36 ballots to choose Jefferson over Burr. Alexander Hamilton used his influence to help determine the final outcome of this vote.

From that time on, supporters of Jefferson never quite trusted Burr. They believed that he should have withdrawn his name from consideration by the House of Representatives.

Vice President Burr ran for governor of New York in 1804, but lost. Hamilton had again successfully opposed him. The angry Burr challenged his enemy to a duel. On July 11, 1804, the two men faced each other with pistols at Weehawken, New Jersey. Burr fatally wounded Hamilton with one shot. A coroners inquest found a verdict of willful murder by Aaron Burr, Vice President of the United States. A New Jersey grand jury returned a murder indictment against him. He fled south, but returned to Washington when Congress reconvened. He presided over the Senate until his term ended.

Burr was now a politically ruined man. After his vice presidency, he engaged in a complex web of questionable activities. Whatever his purposes, he aroused suspicion. He traveled through the American West and recruited men. The commander at New Orleans, General James Wilkinson, whose patriotism has also been questioned, arrested Burr. The question was whether Burr was assembling a group to invade Mexico, whether he was scheming to detach part of the American Southwest from the United States, or possibly both.

Burr was tried for treason in 1807 at a trial presided over by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall. He was acquitted, but his reputation had been damaged. He went to Europe and tried to arouse support for his Mexican scheme. When he returned to the United States in 1812, he entered the country under an assumed name, Adolphus Arnot. He again prospered as a lawyer in New York City, using his own name.

Gulielma Sands, Manhattan Company, and Chase Bank Platinum Visa

Think about Chase Bank Platinum Visa next time you want to apply for a credit card. Platinum Visa from Chase Bank is a highly prized consumer unsecured card requiring good credit or excellent credit.

Chase Bank has its roots in the Manhattan Company formed September 1st, 1799 by Vice President of the United States of America Aaron Burr. Burr shot down Alexander Hamilton in a duel and could be found having a cozy breakfast while Hamilton lay dying.

The Manhattan Well Tragedy, also known as the Levi Weeks case, involved a young woman named Gulielma Sands about 22 years old who had been murdered and thrown down an old well owned by the Manhattan Company. Her fully dressed corpse was discovered on January 2nd, 1800. She lived in a boarding house owned by two of her Quaker relatives, Catherine and Elias Ring. Catherine and Elias had last seen Gulielma the night of December 22nd, 1799 talking with her fiance Levi Weeks and had been under the impression they had run off to get married. Weeks showed up back at home that night acting bewildered his fiance was not at home in bed. He was then placed on trial for her murder. Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton, and Brockholst Livingston were to defend him on all charges.

Gulielma had been badly beaten and it was claimed she had been pregnant. The Rings engaged in shoddy theatrics, placing her beaten and bruised body on display in a coffin for 3 days and outside on the cold pavement for another day that the public could decide whether or not she had been pregnant. The public wanted to crucify Levi Weeks! The charges read ‘not having the fear of God before his eyes, but being moved and seduced by the instigation of the devil, Weeks had beaten and abused Sands before murdering her and stuffing her down the well’.

The trial was held in the same place as George Washingtons first inaugeration, an old city hall on Wall Street. 55 witnesses testified in 3 days time. The defense presented a powerful and credible alibi for Levi Weeks. They claimed he had had dinner with his brother Ezra Weeks, the builder of one of Alexander Hamiltons homes. John B. McComb, Jr., the architect of the same home, had shown up at this dinner and saw Levi eating. The defense laid out a story making possible the suicide of Gulielma Sands! The coroner established drowning as the cause. They showed that Elias Ring had most likely slept with Gulielma Sands and that Gulielma had an ongoing problem with laudanum. This made the Rings boarding home appear like a house of ill repute.

Alexander Hamilton went up against one witness for the prosecution, Richard Croucher. Hamilton placed candles on each side of his face making him appear like Jack the Ripper himself. With the candles revealing every movement of Crouchers face Hamilton said “The jury will mark every muscle of his face, every motion of his eye. I conjure you to look through this mans countenance to his conscience”. It’s said croucher confessed immediately and ran from the courtroom!
